March ‘26 News
Oh my goodness me, how is it March already? This year is just flying by, so many exciting things have happened and much more to come!
I don’t know about you, but I am excited for some warmer weather, sunshine, longer days, and to see the colorful flowers poking through the soil, it always fills me with such warmth and hope.
March is also the month where people in many areas ‘celebrate’ the return of Daylight Savings Time with “Spring Ahead” moving our clocks forward, although this trainer would rather we stayed in the “Fall Back” timeline. This year, this will take place on Sunday, March 8. While we humans may debate the necessity or effectiveness of such measures, all our pets know is that for some reason, we all lose our minds and mess up their whole routine. Try to be gentle with them all, and if you can, start making small changes to adjust your pet to the new time. If you adjust their meal times, bed times, and walk times by about 5—10 minutes each day, it can help them ease into the transition with a little less stress for everyone.
Since March is here, that means that, hopefully, spring is right around the corner. Unfortunately, that often means a reappearance of dreaded seasonal allergies. Now, don’t panic! There are plenty of things you can try to help keep your pup comfortable. Bathing them regularly to keep pollen off their skin and out of their fur can help. Additionally, adding a small amount of bee pollen from local bees can be beneficial in some cases. There are many other things that may work on a case-to-case basis. Since this is such a big time for allergies and since it is National Nutrition Month, all nutrition calls are 15% off for the month of March 2026 when you use code NUTRITION26 at checkout.
My sweet Angel Pup, Charlie, the one who first got me introduced to training and then nutrition. You want to talk about seasonal allergies? He was the poster child. But we got him all sorted. Thank you, Charlie <3
